Gun Oil was founded by a platoon leader who discovered that his soldiers were using CLP fluid as a lubricant. The liquid was not meant for this kind of use but to keep weapons clean and in good condition. Despite this, he realized that the liquid was actually good and worked for a long time, but that it needed major improvements to also be good from a health perspective.

The platoon leader founded Gun Oil and changed the ingredients to make the lubricant user-friendly. Here you can find the classic Gun Oil lubricant, which has a very long-lasting sliding effect.
